    Free Rein Foundation

    Free Rein Foundation

Free Rein rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes horses that have been abused and enlists their incredible “horse sense” in Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) programs. The use of horses in the treatment and training of humans is a non-traditional therapeutic approach. Activities provide opportunities to explore ways of managing difficult situations, fears, attitudes, and ways of being in relationships and society. Free Rein Foundation is a very unique, all-volunteer, local organization that rescues horses & feral mustangs & provides equine therapy for humans. Our pasture is located just down the street in Huntington Beach, & adjoins the beautiful HB Urban Forest. We're kind of a "best kept secret" at this point, but would love to share these beautiful animals with (non-riding) tours for both locals and HB visitors.

For more information about Free Rein, feel free to visit our website, freereinfoundation.org
